ITC Implementers
The information on this page is provided for D3A2 implementers from Information Technology Centers (ITCs) to report issues affecting current project status. Districts interested in using the D3A2 Data Tool application should visit the Implementation Page.
Current Students Tab
The academic year shown on the Current Students tab was rolled over to 2010-2011 on August 1, 2010.
2010 Testing Files Scrubbing & Loading
The D3A2 Scrubber and Loader are able to process student scores files derived from the Spring 2010 OAA and Summer 2010 OGT test administrations.
Spring 2010 OAA Item Analysis Files may be scrubbed and loaded into the Data Warehouse.
2010-2011 Class Re-rostering Capacity (FY11 District Demographics)
This year district demographics files are extracted directly from the eSIS or DASL student information systems rather than from EMIS.
The eSIS and DASL development teams have made information about how to complete this process available to ITC members.
The D3A2 Team is ready to begin receiving 2010-2011 district demographics loads extracted from participating student information systems.
Issues with 2011 Demographic Data Files Extraction Processes
Several issues have been identified with regard to the eSIS and DASL extraction processes that ITC Implementers use to generate district data for D3A2.
DASL
- Extract files generated for the 2010-2011 school year must be renamed to specify 11L in the filename. The extraction process is currently set up to produce files with 10L in the filename.
- To extract demographics for the 2009-2010 school year, set the LIVE school year parameter in DASL to 2009-2010 and kick off the extraction process. Reset the LIVE parameter back to 2010-2011 after the extracts are produced.
eSIS
- Extract files generated for the 2010-2011 school year must be renamed to specify 11L in the filename. The extraction process is currently set up to produce files with 10L in the filename.
- Extracts for the 2009-2010 school year must be created by running the extraction process against historical snapshots of the districts' pre-YET database. This is dependent upon each ITC having its own historical snapshot of its districts' eSIS data for the prior school year.
- Teachers must be identified by state credential number (license) number (SCN) in the eSIS Teacher Record. This applies to both the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school years. Districts that used identifiers other than SCN during these school years are not able to utilize D3A2 at this time.
